Walnut-Cherry End Grain Cutting Board

This end-grain cutting board features some of the finest select Black Walnut  and Cherry hardwoods available in the US today. Both wood species graded as "Select" and feature no voids/knots and a curly grain texture. 

This particular cutting board measures 12"L x 8"W x 1 ⅜" Thick. It's large enough for every occasion but not too large that is becomes an issue after use.

I love huge cutting boards but it's nice to have the same quality wrapped in a package that easy to handle.

End-Grain cutting boards made of fine hardwoods like Black Walnut and Cherry are fine-grained and the capillary action of those grains pull down fluid, trapping the bacteria, which are then killed as the board dries after cleaning. They are the safest surface for your kitchen. As an added bonus, end-grain cutting boards resist knife marks. In fact, it can be difficult to tell the difference in appearance of an end-grain cutting board from it's 1st use compared with years of use.
